Amazonite, also known as the "Amazon stone," is a semi-opaque blue-green variety of microcline feldspar with a hardness on the Mohs scale of 6-6.5. Amazonite is believed to have a very calming effect and is also believed to be a good protector against electromagnetic fields from computers, phones and other electronic devices.
