Unique Lanz Original top and skirt set in perfect condition. Tag is from the mid 1960's. Fabrics were bought in Europe and has an old world vibe as the original designers in the 1930s made costumes for music festivals in Austria where the Lanz family began their business. This is a beautiful set that is definitely worth owning. This is based on traditional Austrian folkwear that they tried to combine with a more modern style. This dress was made in their California location after moving to the US in the late fifties. High quality. The skirt has almost invisible belt loops on side and one side ways loop in front to keep tie in place so when you make the bow it won't sag. Have never seen this before. Back zips up and has a button closure. 3/4 inch sleeves that have elastic around wrists. There are no loose strings, rips, holes, tears or musty smells. One owner who bought new who kept very good care of it. Wonderful earth tone colors with paisley and floral striped print. Pet free smoke free home. 21 inches across under arms. Arm length is 24 inches. Top is 23 inches from shoulder to hem. Skirt is 31 inch long and 31 inches around waist snug on dress form. Love this!
